Formal Teaching Experience
Astronomy 1101 - From Planets to the Cosmos: As a teaching assistant I am responsible for my own lab section for this course. Each week I provide a quick lesson and then run the weeks lab activity for about 40 students. I also engage in small group discussions with students to help get them thinking about astronomy topics covered in class.
Astronomy 1140 - Planets and the Solar System: I am a teaching assistant for this class that is taught inside the planetarium at Ohio State. I help run in class roof-top observing activities and host office hours for students with questions about class. During my time assisting for this course, I am learning how to operate the planetarium software, which I will use for future outreach.
